The Tigers boys basketball tream beat formerly undefeated Whitman in League II play Friday night. Northport's Ryan McManus scored with 13 seconds left in the game to give the Tigers the lead and the win.
The Tigers will next face Central Islip at home Tuesday, Jan. 18 at 6 p.m. Whitman will travel to Sachem North, also Tuesday, for a 6 p.m. game.
The game also served as a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society.
