Glenn Football 2013 Schedule
The fourth-seeded Knights want to improve on last season's quarterfinalist.
Call them the dark Knights.
Glenn football is the No. 4 seed in Suffolk Division IV, which makes the Knights a darkhorse in the race for a championship.
It was a hard landing a year ago after winning consecutive Long Island Class IV football championships from 2010-11. But Glenn shook off the legacy created by the remarkable Class of 2012 and built toward a new run.

Arguably last fall marked Dave Shanahan’s best coaching job. Glenn went 4-5, falling to Mount Sinai, 20-14, in the quarterfinals.
Yet the Knights, 2-4 at one point and left for dead, won back-to-back weeks to finish the regular season at .500 and qualify.

The new schedule is out. Circle Oct. 12. The Knights host rival Babylon, the top seed. The winner of that game could very well earn the top seed come playoff time.
Fall practice begins Aug. 19.
