Northport Cow Harbor vs. Sweden - International Friendly Soccer Match

Northport Cow Harbor vs. Sweden! We are pleased to announce that our soccer club is hosting an international friendly game on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at Veteran’s Park, Bellerose Ave., East Northport at 7 p.m. The match will be between a select team from Sweden versus the Northport Strikers.

The Swedish girls team is made up of 14 girls along with head coach Stephan Skarland. The players are visiting New York City to look at colleges and are from two high schools in Sweden.

The Northport Strikers are a Girls U16 team and play in Division #1, in the Long Island Junior Soccer League. They are coached by Dennis Kropp, (NCHU President) and trained by Moussa Sy of SUSA soccer academy with Ken Demling as Assistant Coach, and Kathy Robarge as Team Manager.

PLEASE COME DOWN AND SUPPORT BOTH TEAMS AND ENJOY WHAT WE HOPE IS AN EXCITING SOCCER MATCH.
