The Marching Band will appear on the MSG Varsity television network this Thanksgiving as part of "The Marching Bands," a three-hour feature of this October’s 49th Annual Newsday Marching Band Festival.
The special showcase features highlights of performances and interviews with band leaders and student participants from the three-day long event held at Hofstra University. Highlights of the John Glenn High School marching band performances will be featured during the first hour of the television event on Nov. 24 between 2:00-3:00 PM. Cablevision iO subscribers can tune into MSG Varsity on Channel 14, Verizon Fios subscribers do not have the channel, but can see the performance online at MSGVarsity.com.
