Northport School Board Candidate: Joe Gannon

The current member of the Board of Education outlines his views and experience.

Patch has ahead of the May 17 election when voters will decide not only on the 2011-12 budget but also pick four people to serve on the school board for the next three years.

who finished the term of longtime Board President Arlene Munson after she stepped down last year. It was videotaped Thursday, May 5, at a  meet the candidates night at organized by the Times of Northport.

Patch filmed the rest of those running — Karen Wills, Joe Gannon, Tammie Topel and Kristen Gavin — at a meet the candidates  event sponsored by the Northport-East Northport School District PTA Council Tuesday, May 10.

From that event, the first to run was Karen Wills. Today it's another incumbent candidate, Joe Gannon. The remaining two candidate videos will run Friday and Monday.
