Glenn Seniors Recognized for Outstanding Academic Achievements
Annual awards ceremony also stressed the importance of community service.
Elwood-John H. Glenn High School held its annual Senior Awards Ceremony recently to recognize and honor graduating seniors for their academic achievements. Over 100 awards were presented to members of the senior class for their outstanding accomplishments.
High School Principal Dr. Vincent Mulieri welcomed the students, parents and teachers in attendance and stressed the importance of service, highlighting some of the generous acts of service performed by the graduating class.
He also encouraged students to “approach the challenges you will face in the future as an opportunity to learn and grow, and not a duty.”
Before an audience of proud parents, administrators and school board members, department chairs and teachers called students to the stage to receive their awards,
honors, recognitions and scholarships.
