Assemblyman Andrew Raia, R,I,C – East Northport, a 3rd degree Knight at , spoke at the annual prayer rally sponsored by the New York State Council of the Knights of Columbus Tuesday at the New York State Capitol.
Members of the Knights of Columbus have been traveling to Albany for nine years to promote their core principles of charity, unity, fraternity and patriotism.
“The Knights of Columbus are very active on Long Island,” said Raia. “It’s always a great pleasure to meet with members from around the state and the district. Their volunteer work with local schools, churches and other organizations is commendable.”
