Agenda: Northport Board of Trustees Meeting

The Northport Village Board of Trustees will be meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday in Village Hall. The following items are on the agenda: 

BOARD APPROVAL OF WARRANT:

Fiscal Year 2013/2014General Fund bills in the amount of $39,844.80
Fiscal Year 2013/2014 Sewer Fund bills in the amount of $8,080.60
Fiscal Year 2013/2014 Capital Fund bills in the amount of $67,292.14
Fiscal Year 2013/2014 Fire Department bills in the amount of $ 11,267.31

RESOLUTION 2013 ~ 85~ APPROVAL OF THE JUNE 18, 2013 MINUTES

WHEREAS: Copies of the minutes of the June 18, 2013, meeting were sent to the Board for approval, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED that said minutes are approved without reading, at this time.

RESOLUTION 2013 - 86 - PAYMENT OF SMALL CLAIMS ASSESSMENT REVIEW 
PROCEEDING CLAIMS WHEREAS,  the property owners of the properties identified on the attached Schedule A commenced small claims assessment reviewing proceedings (SCAR) claiming that the subject properties were assessed during the years indicated at values which exceeded the true value of the subject property; and WHEREAS, the properties set forth on the attached Schedule A were scheduled to be heard before a SCAR Hearing Officer and were settled in accordance with required SCAR procedures.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED  that the Village Treasurer is hereby 
authorized to pay refunds to the property owners of the premises identified on the 
attached Schedule A, plus costs and interest, if any, as determined to be due by the Village Attorney.

RESOLUTION 2013- 87 ~ SEASONAL EMPLOYMENT

BE IT RESOLVED: that the seasonal applicants recommended by the Village Clerk and the Village Administrator are hereby approved.

 Gate Attendant: William King $8.00/hr
 Lifeguard: Shelia Barabino $10.00/hr

The following resolution is to amend resolution 2013 – 83 passed on June 20, 2013

RESOLUTION 2013 – 90 ~ BUDGET TRANSFER

BE IT RESOLVED:  The Village Treasurer is hereby authorized to make the following budget transfers and budget adjustments:

RESOLUTION 2013 – 91 ~ BUDGET TRANSFER

BE IT RESOLVED:  The Village Treasurer is hereby authorized to make the following budget transfers:

Chase Sewer Repair  ($27,000.00)         Capital Sewer Account  $27,000.00

FURTHER RESOLVED: monies will be returned to the Chase Sewer Repair account, as reimbursements are received by the Village.
