Suffolk Police Report: Wanted in New Jersey; Grand Larceny

Second Precinct arrests, Jan. 16-19.

The following information is taken from the Suffolk County Police Department's crime blotter. None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges listed below. A criminal charge is only an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

  • Edward Doughty, 52, from Wyandanch was arrested in Northport on Jan. 19 and charged with being a fugitive from the Atlantic County, New Jersey Police Department.
  • Nicholas Duva, 21, from East Northport was arrested at 953 New York Ave. in Huntington Station on Jan. 19 and charged with fourth degree grand larceny after allegedly stealing a necklace from a Commack home on Oct. 21. He was also charged with loitering, seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and unlawful use of a controlled substance after allegedly being found with prescription pills.
  • Sarah Colucci, 19, from East Northport was arrested at 953 New York Ave. in Huntington Station on Jan. 19 and charged with loitering and using controlled substances after allegedly possessing prescription pills.
  • Victor Bonilla, 26, from East Northport was arrested on Larkfield Road in East Northport on Jan. 18 and charged with criminal obstruction of breathing after he allegedly wrapped both hands around a person's neck.
  • Douglas Hopkins, 18, from Greenlawn was arrested in East Northport on Jan. 18 and charged with operating a motor vehicle impaired by drugs.
  • Fidel Umanzor, 23, from Northport was arrested in Huntington on Jan. 17 and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.
  • Meredith Weber, 27, from East Northport was arrested in Commack on Jan. 16 and charged with first offense DWI.
