Northport Police Report: Loud Birds; Dog Jumps Through Window

Incidents reported by the Northport Police Department between May 2 and 14.

The following incidents were reported by the Northport Police Department between May 2 and 14.

  • Police responded to a complaint of loud birds on Bluff Point Road on May 3 around 11 p.m. Upon arrival, undersigned located the birds' chirping coming from the complainant's tree.
  • A dispute occurred when a woman picked up the wrong floral arrangement from the Northport Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary plant sale and refused to return it. Police contacted the woman's mother who agreed that the floral arrangement would be returned, but someone would have to pick it up at her house.
  • A barking dog jumped through a glass window on Main Street May 6. The dog did not bite any humans or animals.
  • Police responded to Horseshoe Drive May 6 for a report of a stolen bucket. Cost of item taken is approximately $2.
  • Police received an anonymous report of a suspicious male wearing a mask and a backpack somewhere on Main Street May 7. Police checked the area and subject was gone upon arrival.
