Northport FD Douses Dumpster Fire Behind CVS
The department got the call just after 3 p.m. Friday.
The responded to a call of a fire in a dumpster behind the shopping center at 753 Fort Salonga Rd. on Friday just after 3 p.m.
Black smoke billowed out of the green garbage dumpster located almost directly behind the dry cleaner in the plaza as firefighters worked to extinguish the source.
The fire was declared out by 3:25 p.m.
