A Suzuki SUV traveling south on Norwood Rd in Fort Salonga went out of control and slammed into a guard rail in front of on Tuesday around 2:20 p.m., said .

The driver was taken to Huntington Hospital with very serious injuries. No other cars were involved. Witnesses at the scene say school officials delayed dismissal time in response.
