Elwood Road was closed between Pulaski and 6th Avenue in East Northport during Friday's late commute following a collision between a mini-school bus and a work van from in Northport.
Both appeared to be heading north when the collision occurred.
It took place at about 10 a.m. just south of l, which had opened on a two-hour delay today at 9:55 a.m. because of the snow.
Suffolk police arrived to direct traffic just after 10 a.m. and the arrived soon after. Emergency personnel were seen carrying gurneys out of the ambulance.
