let me assume that the women wasn't obeying the 30mph limit, How many more accidents have to occur before we add some stop signs...

Usually speed-related accidents happen closer to Crab Meadow. This was a block from 25A. And I have no details on who did what.

I have lived on Waterside for fifty years and the speeding on this road is constant by many. We have dubbed it the Waterside Speedway. So many people have no regard for others, life or limb, taking in consideration it is a residential neighborhood, albeit not in a con sense as it is approximately three miles long and a main thoroughfare, choose not to obey the LAW. There is very little enforcement of the speeding laws. It is my opinion that if there were more consistent Police patrolling and enforcement of speeding laws, there would be a great increase in revenue for both Northport and Huntington; Huntington, East side of Waterside Ave., Northport, West side of Waterside Rd. Could the Northport and Huntington police not share the responsibility and patrol on a more consistent basis.
