Area Fire Departments Help Kick Off Huntington's Holiday Season

Local fire departments helped usher in the holiday season November 27 by participating in the Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting in Huntington village.

 Thousands of residents lined the streets of New York Avenue and Main Street to welcome Santa and all his helpers, volunteers from the local fire departments and other organizations that participated. 

The parade and festival were sponsored by the  Town of Huntington, the Huntington Fire Chiefs' Council, the Huntington and Huntington Manor Fire Departments, the Huntington Village and Huntington Station business-improvement districts, and the Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce.
