Making Summer Memories at the Farm

As the school year winds down, families will be looking for some fun things to do this summer.

In between going to the beach, strolling downtown and traveling outside of Northport, make sure to fit the into your summer vacation.

And make special note of our annual Barnyard Bash scheduled for August 11th (http://lewisoliverfarm.org/events/) at the farm where Friends of the Farm will host a summertime feast with amazing live music and where kids can take part in many fun activities including hayrides and a pie eating contest.

Everyone always looks forward to this FUN on-site event not just form the delicious food, great music and good company but because it's an opportunity to show their support and raise money to help feed and provide vet care for the animals.

As always, 100% of proceeds raised goes directly toward caring for the animals. And speaking of the animals (http://lewisoliverfarm.org/our-animals/), they bring so much joy to all who visit, it’s no wonder the Lewis Oliver Farm remains a favorite gathering spot for so many in and around the community.

There’s nothing quite like feeding Annabelle the cow and getting licked in the process, watching the goats as they jump and climb their way around the pasture or seeing the ducks and geese splashing around in their swimming pools to bring a smile to your day.

Stop by the farm soon to visit with Annabelle the cow, Tiny the pig, Ezra & Onyx the alpacas, Sheila the sheep and all of our barnyard friends…as always, there are no admission fees of any kind…the farm is open for everyone to enjoy!
