Local Resident Honored for Lifelong Commitment to Scouts

David Hunt is recognized for his efforts to support local youth.

A Fort Salonga resident, along with two others, was recently recognized by the Suffolk County Council of Boy Scouts of America, for his continued commitment to the organization and leadership within the community.

David Hunt, President of Hunt Corporate Services, Inc., is an Eagle Scout and is currently an Eagle Scout Counselor. Also honored this year were Cathleen Hansen (East Setauket) and Floyd Sarisohn (Commack).

All three were awarded the 2013 Distinguished Citizen Award. The Distinguished Citizens Award recognizes noteworthy and extraordinary leadership of citizens in communities.
