3D MakerBot Printer at Elwood Public Library

Elwood Public Library is pleased to announce the arrival of
the MakerBot Replicator 2 3D Printer. This high tech printer will be
temporarily on display from April 18, 2014-May 1, 2014 in order to showcase the
latest technology available on the market. Patrons will be able to watch, first
hand, the impressive creations generated by the printer. In addition, patrons
will be able to submit their feedback and opinions about the 3D printer and be

entered into a raffle to win items created by the printer during its stay at Elwood.

The MakerBot printer generates three dimensional objects

using computer aided designs or “virtual” models. The printer produces

professional quality, realistic products. The Elwood Public library supports

the fostering of creativity and learning and aims to bring the most current

innovations directly to the community.
