Winter Ices Northport Harbor
Frigid January temperatures have some boats frozen in ice.

Winter is here. Frigid winds brew through Northport Harbor Thursday, whipping up whitecaps while the shallows were frozen solid. The January freeze trapped a few runabouts in ice while larger vessels bobbed about in the rough, deeper waters.
