Hello and welcome to the Wednesday edition of "The Daily Five," a rundown of five things to know or do in the community.

2. Meet the Candidates: The Elwood Taxpayers Association is hosting a night at the Elwood Middle School cafeteria at 8:00 p.m. following their regular meeting at 7:30 p.m. Candidates for the Huntington Town Council, the Receiver of Taxes, and the 16th and 17th Districts of the Suffolk County Legislature will be present.

3. Butoh Japanese Dance: The Northport Arts Coalition, in cooperation with the of the library, is proud to present the Swiss-based, Dakini Dance Company that features the Japanese Butoh/Slow Movement dance form. Their lead male dancer, Christoph, will be dancing his original work, “Quetzacoatl: The Plumed Serpent.” After the performance, Christoph and dancer Susanne Daeppen will be available to answer questions about Butoh. 7 p.m., FREE

4. Divorce Support: The will host the next installment of its for both men and women at 7 p.m.
