Monday, Aug. 8: Food Pantry Needs Donations, Go to 'Pompeii'

1. The  at the  of Northport needs donations. Non-perishable food items are always most needed, but you can also support their holiday drive with contributions of non-food products such as health or personal care items, diapers, and detergent. Checks and supermarket gift cards are always appreciated. The pantry is open from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

2. Register for a trip to "Pompeii: The Exhibit" at the Discovery Times Square Museum on Aug. 23 from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday at the of the library. $86.
