Northport Library will host a workshop to help parents develop a supportive, calm, focused approach to parenting with activities that relax and soothe at 7 p.m. Nurture yourself, enrich your relationships, and design optimal learning environments for the developing children in your life. Identify strategies that promote cooperation, listening skills, focus and a positive "can-do" attitude.
Preserve Elwood Now, a group in opposition to the proposed condos at the current location of Oak Tree Dairy, is meeting at 7:30 p.m. in Greenlawn. The meeting will be held at The Moose Lodge on Pulaski Road. See details here.
