: Northport Community Theater presents Annie Warbucks. Daddy Warbucks adopted Little Orphan Annie - - ever wonder how that turned out?  Friday & Saturday, May 11 & 12 at 8 PM, Sunday, May 13 at 2 PM at the Brosnan Center Theater. $20.00 Adults, $15.00 Students & Seniors.

Saturday

: Visiting Nurse Service & Hospice of Suffolk is hosting its 12th annual 5K run/walk “Run for the Health of It” on a certified USATF sanctioned, challenging rolling hills course in Northport.  This race of part of the Long Island Track and Field Grand Prix Series.  There is also a fun run for kids, plus games, face painting, children’s characters and 100’s of giveaways.  Race includes awards, raffle prizes, post race refreshments. $20 registration fee for run/$10 for kids fun run. Proceeds support Visiting Nurse Service & Hospice of Suffolk’s Annual Bereavement Retreat for Children. 

: What’s On Your Pet’s Mind? Animal Communicator, Patricia Bono to Make Appearance at Just Dogs Gourmet in East Northport. 1-4 p.m. $20 with a $5 donation to be made to League of Animal Protection of Huntington.

: Love of Learning, a not-for-profit Montessori school with locations in Centerport and Dix Hills, will once again host its Gala Spring Art Auction. The event benefits the school’s child enrichment fund. During the auction, attendees can bid on finished, framed artwork presented from artists such as Chagall, Degas and Matisse.  There will be originals, prints, signed and numbered pieces, sculpture and blown glass.  Marlin Art Gallery of Deer Park, NY will be providing the art and auctioneer.  In addition to the auction, there will be raffles for baskets donated by local merchants.  Throughout the evening, wine, hors d’oeuvres, coffee and dessert will be available. 6 p.m.

: Singles mingle at at 4 p.m. $5
