2. A Series of Unfortunate & Fortunate Events: This storytelling game is open to any Elwood resident entering grades 3-5. The leader will start a simple story and every time he says "but fortunately" or “but unfortunately” the group has to come up with something good or bad to happen next. Everyone will have a chance to add to the story and everyone will leave with a copy of the story we have created. Register online or call. Refreshments will be served. 6 p.m. at .

4. 'The King & I' Auditions: The will hold auditions for a November production of "The King & I" at the Brosnan Center Theater at 7:30 p.m.
