Photos: Northport Chamber Holiday Party 2012

Business owners cut loose at the annual Northport Chamber of Commerce Holiday Party at Northport Yacht Club last week.

This year's Holiday Party at was held on a beautiful and unseasonably mild Sunday with noted politicians from the town, county, and state mingling with local business owners.

Attendees enjoyed cocktails in the bar prior to a delicious dinner catered by the yacht club's talented cooking staff. Chamber Corresponding Secretary Dorothy Walsh received a surprise award from Mayor George Doll during dinner for her service and dedication to the village, as well as an official renaming of municipal parking lot #4 on Main Street where her clothing store once stood to the "Dorothy Walsh Parking Lot." The tongue-in-cheek renaming gesture from the village receved a hearty laugh from the room.

The afternoon ended with a 50/50 raffle and gift basket prizes from local businesses.
