'Hunting-TONY' Awards Honor Exceptional Performing Arts Students
Local high school students to be honored at Northport's Engeman Theater.
The third annual “Hunting-Tony” Awards return Tuesday night to honor exceptional performing arts students from four Huntington-area high schools.
The awards will be held at the John W. Engeman Theater at Northport to recognize the talent and dedication of students who participated in their school’s extracurricular theatrical productions during the 2012-2013 school year.
Some of the categories include best musical, best actor/actress in a musical and best stage crew, among others. The ceremony will also feature musical numbers from four high schools and a red carpet portion (weather permitting) prior to the show.
The Huntington-TONY's are sponsored by the Town of Huntington and Engeman Theater. Awards ceremony begins at 7 p.m.
