Northport in Bloom. Opening Art Show Reception
The newly opened Wine Cellar on Main is hosting the award-winning Artist, Mary Ahern with a One-Person Art Show through October 8, 2012.
The opening-reception is Sunday, September 9 from 2-5pm.
A passionate gardener and a professional Artist, Mary Ahern uses her own extensive gardens in Northport, New York for inspiration and source material.

Her work is not shy or restrained. Big bold colors, exuberantly call the viewer to stop a moment and smell the proverbial roses.
A classically trained Artist, Ahern creates Botanical Fine Art by combining over 30 years of traditional painting experience with 25 years working in the Computer Graphics industry. She creates Plant Portraits, Landscapes and Still Lives using the computer, tablet and stylus as her medium of choice.
