The Northport Arts Coalition presents a special celebration of Poetry Month. Sor Juan Ines De La Cruz & Abbess Hildegard Von Bingen were both nuns, poets, educators, and visionaries. Given the medieval and baroque periods in which they lived, both were extremely forward thinking. Join Charlotte Koons as she performs
“A Hildegard Homily” and a Spanish poet or two inspire us in this partly bilingual celebration of Poetry Month and NAC’s 12th birthday.
