Potholes! It’s the equivalent of a curse on Long Island.

These gravelly, asphalt mini graves are the scourge of any commute, spilling coffee and jarring your teeth at every opportunity.

Winter isn't over, but some roads around Northport and East Northport already need fixing.

Pothole season has been particularly bad this year across Long Island due to this winter's wide temperature shifts. Several lanes on the Long Island Expressway and Northern State Parkway were shut down Sunday for pothole repairs, clogging traffic. 

Patch is on a quest to uncover the roadways and intersections with the worst potholes. So sound off in the comments section and sound the alarm. Your car – and that minivan full of kids on the way to lacrosse practice – will thank you.
