Sen. Schumer Shows off Singing Chops During Cow Harbor Day

The politician entertains festival crowds with, "Me and Julio Down by the Schoolyard."

Chuck Schumer is known for his politics, but the United States Senator showed off his singing chops during Cow Harbor Day Sunday in Northport.

Not shy of the cameras, Schumer sang Paul Simon's "Me and Julio Down by the Schoolyard," to the crowd outside of Trinity Episcopal Church on Main Street.

The senator had some trouble remembering the lyrics at the beginning of the song, but got into the rhythm by the chorus.

We give him credit for getting up there, but after hearing the senator's pipes, we'll just say we're glad he has a day job.

"we'll just say we're glad he has a day job." It would be nice to change that as well.

I am surprised he wasn't having some useless Sunday press conference like he usually does. He's a wind bag.

I wonder if the Senator's Staff alerted him to the dastardly behavior of Northport's American Legion Post and their so called Leader Mr Cooney who goes out of his way to prevent funds from being raised to help our Wounded Warriors returning from Iraq and Afghanistan ?? Not sure he would be singing a tune from a balcony if he knew...

Please, we beg you: quit your day job. What a parasite!
