'Season's Readings' at Northport Historical Society

Cookies, hot chocolate and stories will put families in the holiday spirit Dec. 19.

What better way to get into the Christmas spirit than with cookies and classic holiday tales?

The Northport Historical Society will host an evening of 'Season's Readings' for families Dec. 19 with dramatic readings of favorite holiday stories, cookie decorating and hot chocolate around a decorated Christmas tree in the main gallery of the museum.

The festivities begin at 7 p.m. The cost is $5 per family for member and $10 per family for non-members. Advance registration is required, and can be made by calling the Society offices at 631-757-9859.

Northport Historical Society’s Museum is located at 215 Main Street, Northport and is open to the public Tuesday –Sunday from 1 to 4:30 p.m.
