Northport High School students held their annual A Midwinter Night's Dream gala fundraiser for ALS at Oheka Castle on Thursday. A star-studded event, the gala raised more than $410k this year, which brings the charity's overall fundraising total to $3 million for ALS research and family assistance.
This year's gala theme was "Light Up the Night" in honor of late NHS teacher David Deutsch, who succumbed to ALS last January at age 43. Read more about Deutsch's story here.
