Get Out! Northport's Family-Friendly Weekend Planner

A roundup of family-friendly events for the weekend of March 4-6.

It’s Thursday, and you’ve got no idea what you’ll do for the weekend.

Patch is coming to the rescue. We’ve got the best bets for your done-work-outta-here time. Check our picks for the activities to hit and new bars/restaurants/shops to explore.


Where/When: ; Saturday, 7 pm-11 pm.
Why Go: Enjoy fine foods from local businesses, fantastic music by Jeff  Mucciolo & The Moonshine Band, prizes and best of all, the evenings proceeds goes toward the feeding and care of the animals at Lewis Oliver Farm on Burt Avenue.
Pricing: Tickets are $50/person in advance or $55 at the door. Ticket includes buffet dinner, beer, wine, soda, dessert and great entertainment.

Where/When: , Saturday, 8 pm-11 pm.
Why Go: Enjoy an evening of spiritual music by Frank Rendo.
Pricing: $15 per person.


Where/When: : Saturday, 7:30 pm-11:00 pm.
Why Go: Parents can take a break while the kids enjoy live music, dodgeball, kickball, soccer, batting cages, touch football and speed pitch.
Pricing: Free.

Why Go: Work on your game while supporting Northport SEPTA and enjoying refreshments and live music.
Pricing: The cost is $50 per person or a lane of 6 people for $275.00.


Where/When:: Sunday, 2 pm-3:30 pm.
Why Go: A dazzling multi-media performance by Morgan Taylor and Gustafer Yellowgold, with music, animated illustrations, and stories.
