LES MIS auditions tonite (Monday), tomorrow (Tuesday) & Wednesday nights!!!

Les Miserables, the grand story of the Paris Uprising of 1832, is coming to the stage of the Northport-E. Northport Community Theater in May of 2014! The Theater plans to muster all the grandeur and majesty at its disposal to honor the history of Les Mis.   While preparations for the Theater's annual Spring production do not usually commence until March, the drumbeat has already begun with Les Mis auditions taking place on December 16 for adults only and on December 17 and 18 for adults and students at the Brosnan Center Auditorium, 158 Laurel Avenue, Northport (School District Admin building).  Those interested in auditioning should be prepared to sing 16 measures (bring sheet music) with auditions beginning at 7 p.m. on all nights.  Of special interest for this production is the artistic assistance of Mr. Craig Schulman who starred as Jean Valjean in the Broadway production of Les Mis and in other Les Mis productions around the globe.  In addition to offering artistic direction, Mr. Schulman will be holding a Master Class for involved cast members on April 5; this Master Class will also be available to the general public and is covered, for cast members, by a required show participation fee of $60.   Info contact Bette Silver 631-896-5970; bdsilver@optonline.net.
