Bathing Advisories for Area Beaches
County warns against elevated bacteria levels following heavy rain.
The Suffolk County Department of Health has issued bathing advisories for Huntington area beaches following heavy rains Thursday.
The advisory is based on the potential that excess bacteria from runoff will impact these areas. The advisory is effective until Saturday morning.
