Do-ing Music presents The Alturas Duo

     The Northport
Arts Coalition, in cooperation with the Library, presents The Alturas Duo, one
of the most engaging ensembles performing in the chamber music world today.
This unique Duo was formed with the idea of bringing the unusual combination of
viola, charango, and guitar together to create passionate music that moves at
ease between Baroque and South American folk rhythms. The Alturas Duo has
performed throughout Canada, South America, and the United States including
recitals at Carnegie Hall, Merkin Hall, and the Smithsonian Institute. A
meet-the-artists reception will follow.
