This past May, I graduated from Binghamton University with a Honors BA in English. While at Binghamton, I divided my time between being a mentor at the Johnson City Middle School, a crisis hotline counselor, and the Secretary of our competitive Equestrian Team.  I interned at the publishing company, Etruscan Press, in the fall of 2008.
Before deciding on obtaining an English degree, I took many classes in Environmental Studies and chose to write my honors thesis on "Environmental Education for Ecological Sustainability". A vegetarian since the age of 13, environmental concerns have always been of interest to me.  I jumped into the Fordham University MAT program in Adolescent English two weeks after I graduated and I am currently loving Lincoln Center. I currently live in East Meadow, which has been my home for the past 22 years.  I'm excited to join the Patch team!
