This is so sad. Alan Kuver was a gentleman, devoted to his students and athletes.

I'm curious, was he a smoker?

Jim Johnson's Organization CIC should have no mention in my brother's obituary. He was incapable ofRead More spending anytime in the "Lions Den" which Mr. Johnson went to such length's to talk about during his speech at my brothers funeral. A speech he gave without my side of the families knowledge and after my step mother was refused to be allowed speak. During his speech, Jim Johnson claims that my brother was "his hero" even though "he could barely string three words together." Well Jim, my brother most certainly could string three words together, and your ignorance only goes to show how little you actually knew him or care. The fact that my Brother's death is seemingly being used as some sick advertisement for Jim Johnson's organization is disgusting, my family has never felt such disrespect.

As a close member of the Pitti family (Frankie's father's, cousin) and having spent almost everyRead More weekend with the family since this past summer when Frankie's health began to decline, I know first hand the pain that the Pitti family has endured. Frankie's father, Dan, sister Dorothy, brother Dan and stepmother Linda, and countless other Pitti family members ADORED this special young man. Our extended family has gathered on multiple occasions in recent weeks to absorb as much as we could of the love that emulated from being in his presence and in gathering trying to prepare ourselves to say goodbye. Frankie's passing has broken many hearts of many people that I love dearly. I pray for "our" peace and that our loved ones in heaven, especially my beloved Aunt Dorothy, in embracing Frankie, help us find peace in our hearts, until we are all together again </3

This is very sad news. Please send my condolences to Dan Sr. and the rest of the family. WeRead More purchased a home from Dan 3 years ago in ENPT. Our neighbors just told me about this news, and as a parent my heart breaks for this family who has had to say goodbye to Frankie. May he rest in peace now...

Leslie Spanko was a wonderful educator and is irreplaceable. I feel blessed to have had her forRead More English in both 7th and 8th grade and getting to be her colleague these last six school years only added to the admiration I have for her. She impacted my life positively in many ways and for that I am forever greatful.

I LOVED this teacher in middle school. So sad to hear of her passing. She was quirky and funny andRead More just a great teacher. I'm pretty sure she was the one who organized a bake sale and read-a-thon to raise money for a handicapped swing at the ENPT Library. I just noticed that the swing is gone a few months ago. We should get a new one in her memory.

Bob passed the same week my dad did. :( My parents loved coming down to Northport to see myself andRead More the band play. Here is a video I put together back in 1997 of the band when I worked as an editor for News 12 Long Island. I treasured those summers and wish I could play again. (I moved out of state). RIP Bob, you were one amazing man! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EGhIXRCqEnE
