Four "wells," each dedicated to one of the grade levels, fill up with students who are completing homework or just socializing almost all day. On many occasions, there are activities on the commons that involve displays of student work, interesting demonstrations and fund raising efforts of the many clubs, college and career fairs, in addition to informational sessions by outside groups and agencies. Every day, the student-run radio station plays music selected and introduced by students in the radio club, WNPT.
