Atria Senior, Retirement and Supported-Living Community

<p>Atria East Northport is one of 120 locations nationwide. It provides a wide range of options and variety of services for senior citizens to allow them to live independently. Services include assistance with daily tasks, such as managing medication regimens, bathing and dressing. It also offers short-term stays following surgery or other hospital events as well as vacation visits. Atria East Northport has facilities specifically for those experiencing memory loss, Alzheimer's or dementia. </p> <p>The community is located on a 12.9-acre parcel in a building that formerly housed the Larkfield School, one of the Northport-East Northport Union Free School District's properties. The district sold it in 1982. </p> <p>Monthly costs range from under $3,000 for a shared bedroom to just under $5,000 for a studio. </p> <p>Services provided in the community include a beautician and barber, laundry, housekeeping, social activities and computer access. </p>
