The temperatures may be falling, but there's still plenty to do out on the town this weekend. So let's take a look at a few fun events taking place around the region:

Haunted House in Huntington Station

Watch out for the hearse: Restless Souls Haunted House at the West Hills United   Methodist Church opens at 6 p.m. Friday, West Hills Court, Huntington Station.

NORTHPORT

Minstrel Players Presenting, 'The Mousetrap'

Northport’s oldest theatre group, The Minstrel Players are staging the longest running show in London Theater history with their first-time showing of Agatha Christie’s classic murder-mystery, 'The Mousetrap.' Tickets are now on sale for the show, will be performed Oct. 26 and Nov. 2 at 8 p.m and Oct. 27 and Nov. 3 at 3 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church, 130 Main St., Northport. Model Train Show

The 16th annual Model Train Show, sponsored by the Northport Centerport Lions Club, will take place Saturday at 10 a.m. at 1018 Pulaski Road, East Northport. Children age 5 and younger are free, Children ages 6 to 12 are $1 and adults are $3.

HALF HOLLOW HILLS

Homecoming at Half Hollow Hills West. Parade at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, followed by the football game against West Babylon at 2 p.m.
