Northport Agenda: Jamboozi Festival, SPARKBOOM ArtWalk

The Jamboozi Festival is set for Sunday, September 29, from 12:00 to 6:30 on the Great Lawn at the Vanderbilt Mansion and Museum in Centerport. The Festival is the last of five live music/live painting events produced at the Vanderbilt this year by Rich Rivkin.
Fifty artists will paint live to the inspiration of Miles to Dayton, The Electrix, Grateful Dead tribute), Abraxas (Santana tribute), Ken Talve Trio, and soloist Elana Rivkin. Tickets: Adults, $15 each; children ages 5-12, $5; children under 5, free. Purchase tickets at vanderbiltmuseum.org.

Long Island Naturally Environmental Fair
Join Starflower Experiences for its annual environmental fair. Enjoy live music with "Solar Punch" and a solar-powered stage (1:00-2:30), meet Walt Whitman (2:45), learn ways to 'go green' at home, make a 'cleaner' cleaner, take part in games and activities and shop at the Community Yard Sale. Saturday 10 a.m. Manor Farm, 210 Manor Rd, Huntington.
Second Annual National Plug In Day will have with almost 3 dozen electric cars on display to see and test drive. Also on display will be a solar charger for charging these electric cars, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Melville Mall/ 834 Walt Whitman Road., Melville (Route 110 east side) just north of the Northern State Parkway
