Your money or Your Life or Buy Locally Squared

What if the American economy collapsed for any one of a myriad of reasons. What if all of our Villages and Hamlets ceased to have small retail businesses. The what ifs are endless if we continue this line of discourse, and none of it is good. Is this thinking far fetched? I don't think so. The United States is at a pivotal point on our brief history. And I don't give a damn if you are a Tea Party Advocate or as Imus says you love the Baby Jesus. It doesn't matter if you are Muslim, Jew or Christian. America needs your undivided financial attention. We as a people, as a nation that has been built on Immigrant Work Ethic, must survive. We must stop buying anything imported. We must buy American products as long as the product is available from a US source at a similar price. Why? Because, your life and mine depends upon it. It takes years, sometimes generations to build a business that prospers. At this moment in history, our businesses are under attack. Under attack from whom? We are under attack from China and its undervalued currency and its sweat shops, and it's slave labor and its ability to copy anything fraudulently. If we lose our local businesses we will lose our way of life and probably never be able to reclaim it. Stop buying imports, Stop buying on the Internet. Start patronizing your local American businesses, their survival and yours depends upon it.
