Sachem North was undefeated and the clear favorite in Division I. Northport was simply trying to right itself after an 0-2 start to the season.
What happened next was the surprise of the 2012 season. Northport kept the pressure on and never let up in a 33-10 win Saturday over the Flaming Arrows.
