Glenn QB, WR Picked for All-Star Football

 and get to play one more football game together.

The dynamic quarterback-receiver duo who helped win a last fall were selected to the Long Island squad of the 15th annual United Healthcare Empire Challenge high school football all-star game. 

The top 100 football players from around the Island and New York City were selected to play in the game, which will kick off June 19 at 7 p.m. at Hofstra's Shuart Stadium.

Czeczotka, who will walk on at Rutgers, threw for 1,977 yards and 25 touchdowns as a senior. Wagner, headed to Stony Brook, finished the season with 817 receiving yards and 16 touchdowns. 

The game is the brainchild of former NFL star and East Islip native Boomer Esiason. It benefits the Boomer Esiason Foundation in its fight against cystic fibrosis, contributes to the Gunnar H. Esiason Endowed Scholarship Fund at Hofstra, and supports youth and high school football in the New York metropolitan area.
