Help Welcome Home Wounded Marine Lt. James Byler Saturday

The Huntington Tri-Village Little League and Councilman Mark Mayoka invite the community to help welcome home 1st Lieutenant James Byler of the United States Marine Corps Saturday at Greenlawn Memorial Park on Pulaski Road.

A dedication to the Huntington native, will take place at 11 a.m.

Following the dedication, the little league will host three special games in his honor, one each at noon, 3 p.m. and 6 p.m.

"This is a very special time as James will be home with his entire family from Walter Reed Hospital [where he has been rehabilitating]," Mayoka said.

Byler's brother John, who recently returned from Iraq, will be reunited at the ceremony.

In addition to the games, a live reggae band will play from 7 to 10 p.m. There will be food and raffles available, as well.
