Fit Philanthropy Into Your Life at AMND Philanthropy Center!

Please join us for two-hours of fun as students will take part in a physical fitness activity (Zumba), enjoy healthy snacks, and be entertained with stories and activities that relate to our “fit” theme. All students in grades K-5 are welcome to attend. On the evening of the event, we ask that attending students bring a pair of new or used jeans (that don’t “fit”) which will benefit the organization Pocket Full of Sunshine—

A Midwinter Night's Dream: A Midwinter Night’s Dream is a student run non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds and awareness for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, ALS. Begun after the diagnosis of a beloved teacher of the Northport-East Northport School District in 2004, students, graduates, fellow teachers and community members banded together to aid all who have been affected by ALS. An annual gala dinner is the focal point of A Midwinter Night’s Dream’s fundraising efforts. The proceeds from this event are donated to different patients, ALS organizations, and science research centers. Since our inception we have raised over 2 million dollars for the fight against ALS.
