The Fr. Thomas A. Judge Knights of Columbus Council #6893 will host their annual basketball Free-Throw contest on Monday January 9th at the Trinity Regional School gym on Fifth Avenue in East Northport. The contest is open to boys and girls ages 10 to 14 who must bring a copy of their birth certificate to register. Registration will begin promptly at 7:15 PM and the free-throw contest will commence at 7:30 PM.
Each contestant will throw twenty-five free-throws and winners for each age group will be determined by the highest number of baskets scored. These winners will then move on to the district level free-throw in February and after making it through the regional level, ultimately compete at the NY State finals to be held at West Point in April.
