If you live in the Northport-East Northport School District and want to run for a Board of Education seat, take note: Candidate packets are now available from the school district.
Pick up your packets by contacting District Clerk Beth Nystrom at the Administrative Building, 158 Laurel Avenue. Call 262-6608 for further information.
The minimum qualifications: Candidate must be at least 18 years of age, a resident of the district for one year, and a qualified voter of the district.
