Northport-East Northport Schools Closed Friday
Winter Storm Hercules forced the cancellation of classes and after-school activities.
The Northport-East Northport School District announced that all schools and offices are closed Friday, due to snowy weather conditions, brought on by Winter Storm Hercules.
All after-school and evening activities are also canceled, Superintendent of Schools Marylou McDermott said in a statement on the district's website.
Students in the Northport-East Northport School District were released early Thursday as road conditions were said that have caused hazardous conditions for bus drivers.
